KL Sentral is just two kilometers away from the main center of Kuala Lumpur. Holy Rosary Church
Although the main religion being practiced by most Malaysians is Islam, there are still those that believe in other religions as well. There are plenty of Christians in the country and if you are following the same religion, you can go to the Holy Rosary Church.
This beautiful structure dates back to the pre-war era and was established back in 1904. Its ribbed vault, pointed arch, and flying buttress helps the structure standout among the rest.
Do keep in mind that the church is only open to the public during the weekends where you can join the mass.
For anyone who wants to learn more about Earth and the universe, the National Planetarium located in Lake Gardens is another nice place to visit.
Its blue dome is actually the most standout feature of the building and can be seen prominently when you are riding a taxi. Anyway, the place is filled with interactive displays complete with its own definition so that you can learn more about the galaxies.
Buddhist Maha Vihara
The Buddhist Maha Vihara is one of the Buddhist temples that you can find in Brickfields. This temple is located just one kilometer away from the Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station.
This is the prime place of worship for the local Sri Lankan community and its ornate fixtures and impressive reclining Buddha statues make it an ideal place to go to for many travelers.
The place was used to be a wet market but has been transformed into an amazing handicrafts market.
It is located just opposite of Dayabumi complex and the main description of the building is one that is placed with local Baroque trimmings.
